Why I Moved from Brooklyn, New York to Medellín, Colombia - Different Hunger

and I guess that brings us to do today since we are Matt and I are moving to a new place and I live and we're about to take off there and watch it yeah crush it for the next two and a half month the mentality of people here in the culture it's so laid back so you're able

to escape from that like constant grind that I was facing in New York City which is great up into a point and then you know you kind of have to detox a little bit you know balance like being happy to having a good social circle working out you know going out and partying not just just being like

so one-dimensional so my name is Matt I am the founder of a brand called the masculine it a men's lifestyle website that offers self-development content to guys in order to help them sort of achieve the lifestyle of their dreams I graduated from University and I like many other people I got stuck in a difficulty like corporate job

I just got here this is my second time in Medan and the first time I was here I just quit the job that you described I quit my consulting job I guess the big turning point was when I got fired from the job I was miserable and I really affected everything about my work like making good like

good money and like on the surface like everything looked fine like it's like all this guy has you know he has like a good consulting job he's making like decent money but they just suck I was I was in like a foreign country not knowing what to do it couldn't find a job couldn't speak the language there

so I started learning about internet marketing and within four months I was able to support myself by building this internet marketing agency and social media marketing agency which is what I do full-time the reason that I came down here was because I had two friends internet friend that I had connected with a few years back and me

become like master my buddy and they were both online entrepreneurs and business owners and I knew that surrounding myself with that type of person was what I needed know so that basically brings us to here to meta-gene where we're both basically we've already established you know a good start to our businesses and we're just trying to take

them to the next level now just in the meantime like just like enjoying life this place is just magical like anyone who comes here they're just blown away by the beauty of the people and the weather and just the culture the laid-back mentality it's just amazing so I'm so pumped to be back the last time I was

here I was just like grinding like and definitely I was like a robot just working out waking up working like crazy hours and now I can finally enjoy myself and stay focused so again I mean look at this view it's just ridiculous of course we got to give a shout out to beautiful beautiful women of Medellin like

it is just next-level here and I'm very excited to meet some beautiful Columbiana Xand it's an amazing amazing place yes that's don't expose my strategy [Music] we're going out to a different part of Medici come too far for me there's like ten minutes in fact because I'm definitely more Colombian like authentic Colombian there yeah what's up I

give them a call again what call was exhausting even though we only went like ten minutes away it took us it's not like a solid two hours to move everything but the new place is sweet it's uh still had a little bit more to go but it's cool to floor penthouse getting a projector here so and that

is nothing to do oh yeah yes view is spectacular yeah that's pretty much it just gonna get settled in here
