Just wrapped up another awesome week in NYC. It’s really great to be back in this amazing city. Living here is a trade-off. Sometimes you have to drop $16 for a six-pack of Coronas, but in exchange you have access to literally anything you want. I’m doing my best to make the most of my time here. This week I wrapped up a web design project with a new startup based out of Philly, called Lace Up. Lace Up allows you to search for hot, trending shoes and then provides you with the best prices from all the major online retailers like Amazon, Dick’s, Finish Line, etc. They’ve already won several awards for their business idea. Even cooler though is the fact that these guys are a bunch of 16 year olds hustling their asses off. While their peers are trying to get mom and dad to let them stay overnight at a friends, these guys are figuring out their marketing strategies and working to raise venture capital funding. I'm back in Brooklyn again and it's great to be here I could not wait to get back here and just be with my friends and and just be in this incredible City because there's something special about New York City it's a place where you have to spend $16 for six packs but at the same time you know
it's okay because the tradeoff is you have access to literally anything that you want access to whether it's people whether it's opportunities career-wise whether it's c weird it's all here and it's just really great to be back and and I'm just trying to enjoy every minute of it so it's Friday here in Brooklyn it's been a great
week some really cool things have gone down this week I've been working on a design project for a new startup company called lace up I've shared a little bit about them on my Facebook and whatnot but it's been super cool to work with these guys because these guys are a bunch of 16-year-old kids who are already co-founders
and CEOs of a new startup which I think it's amazing amazing I wish I had that ambition and hustle at that age but it's really cool to be able to work with those types of people and be able to be a part of their success so it's really cool to see young kids like that just getting after
it and just not making excuses how many of us tell ourselves we're too busy to do this or we're too busy to do that but when you see someone like a 16-year-old kid just getting after it and instead of going to sleepovers with friends he he's working on figuring out his marketing strategies and and how to get
Venture Capital funding it's pretty inspiring so it's really cool to be able to to work with those guys also this week I launched my very first product and it's a course and it's a course based on the Insight that I received from 75 plus top performers so I have a group of readers going through that right now
it's super exciting and when I started my website back in 2014 as a college punk you know I had dreams of building these types of products and hopefully changing people's lives because as a young college kid I know that I looked up to a lot of bloggers who I read about and their content really really impacted me
and changed kind of how I viewed my life and and how I viewed my career path my goal with my website is is to have that same impact on other people and creating products is just one way to do that and I'm really excited to see where this thing goes and of course I'll be sharing with you
