About this video
Erin Willett's advice to her twenty something self: "There are going to be part of this life that suck, and parts that you’re going to fail at. But, you have to have to be grateful for them because you’re going to learn something from them. When I was that age, I would let things that I didn’t get right the first time around break me or discourage me, so much so that it would prevent me from ever trying that thing again. But I would tell myself to just keep pushing through those struggles and know that there are still lessons to be learned and positives that come from those moments. Be grateful for everything, even the sucky parts." Erin Willett is a singer and songwriter who appeared on NBC’s The Voice in 2012 where she was a semi-finalist on Team Blake. Most recently Erin appeared on The Biggest Loser where she lost an incredible 87 pounds and placed fifth. they're going to be part of this life that suck one piece of advice I would give my 21 year old cell they're going to be parts of this life that suck and parts that you're going to fail at but you have to be grateful for them because you're going to learn something from them because I guess when
I was that age a lot of things when I didn't get it the first time around I would let it like gravy or discourage me a lot to the fact that i would probably ever do it again mm-hmm but just pushing through that and and knowing that I'm learning something and and there's lessons in those moments definitely
yeah you guys grateful for everything even even the sucky part yes they might be sucky at that point oh I remember writing when it's often yeah something I learned something from it for me like that's the most powerful thing of getting all these responses is that like we've talked about today there's there's these like universal truths that
you can pull out from people who have been successful at something and you can apply it to something else you know what I mean whether it's losing 100 pounds or climbing a mountain or running a four-minute mile or bench pressing the world it's like everything that gets you to that point there's common factors that go into that
and like that's that's really what I want my web site to kind of be about in like what the main takeaway what I want to main takeaway to be from this post but but yeah you're on it so see you know what you're talking about a little bit you
Keep going
