that you can actually buy happiness if you do invest in experiences versus material goods. Here is Adam Braun's advice to his younger 20-something self. Understand that money can be used to buy things or experiences. Those who spend on experiences live the richer of the two lives, travel as much as possible outside your comfort zone, and always challenge
your assumptions. Adam Braun is the founder of Penthouse of Promise, which is an absolutely incredible organization. They have built over 300 schools for children in developing countries, and Adam is also a best-selling author for the book that he wrote about starting this organization and kind of just documenting his journey. It's very inspiring, read, I highly recommend it.
I'll include a link to his book in the description below. And Adam's advice is awesome because I also have found his advice to be incredibly true, and that is when I invest in experiences versus material things, the impact on my overall well-being, happiness, etc. is much greater than if I were to go shopping or purchase a material
good. And there's actually been some research done recently about this topic, and two Harvard social researchers actually published a book about this idea of investing in experiences versus things, and their argument is that you can actually buy happiness if you do invest in experiences versus material goods, and that book is called Happy Money. The way that you
can apply this to your own life is to invest in traveling, invest in trips, invest in spending money on other people, because as research has shown, and also as Adam mentions here, when you do invest in experiences versus things, those are the things that you're going to have the longest lasting impact on your success and fulfillment.
Keep going
