About this video

A few days ago I was speaking to my friend Erin Willett who has been on The Voice and most recently lost 87 pounds on The Biggest Loser. After she returned home from the show, she would run into her friends who would continually ask her, "Erin, what's your secret? How did you do it?" It reminded me of my friend who asked me a few weeks ago for a supplement that cuts body fat and builds muscle... I told him that supplement was in the store right next to the supplement that you take to make a million dollars overnight and also next to that stupid ass vibrating belt that promises you'll get abs overnight... (Seriously though, how are these even a thing????????) Our whole perception of success is way off... We see huge success and immediately start looking for that ONE thing - that one hack, that one tip, that one silver bullet that will allow us to go from A to B overnight. That ONE thing simply DOES NOT exist. Success is the result of consistently putting in the effort, day in and day out when nobody knows who you are. And you need to be okay with that. You need to love the process and be willing to be unrecognized for weeks, months and years, while simply being satisfied with that fact that you are pursuing your goal and pushing yourself closer and closer to that goal, daily. But I'll tell you, the minute you start seeing results the momentum that comes from that is incredible. That momentum translates into motivation and allows you to keep pushing forward. Even after 1-2 months of eating clean, working out daily, my friend Erin looked in the mirror and asked herself, "When am I going to start losing weight?" It wasn't until month 3 that she really started seeing the changes and looking in the mirror like "Oh dayum I look good." I had a similar situation as well when I got down to Colombia. I had sent over 30 proposals before I started hearing back from prospects.... Before I knew it I had three web design clients. I also kept writing and writing and putting out content knowing that not many of you were reading... But this week I got some great news. I found out that some of my writing will be featured by several publications with readers in the millions. It's about understanding that this process will never happen overnight. Not only that, but fall in love with this process. Be okay with going under the radar indefinitely, and when the momentum comes, use it to fuel yourself and to keep pushing yourself closer and closer to your goals. If you put in the effort, it WILL come. Trust the process. Shoutout again to my amazing friend Erin Willett for being such a massive inspiration. I have more content coming from our chat soon - stay tuned. Aaron Willet who was on The Voice and most recently on The Biggest Loser uh where she lost 87 lbs uh let's give her a internet golf clap for that um but something that happened to her when she returned from her time on the show uh her friends would would see her and say Aaron you look amazing obviously

um but then they would start asking her you know how' you do it what's your secret and it reminds me of a few weeks ago when my friend reached out to me and he asked uh hey Matt you know what's what's uh a supplement that I can get that will build muscle and cut fat and I told

him I said okay yeah uh just go to the store and ask uh for that supplement it's it's next to uh the supplement that will make you a million dollars overnight and also next to that stupid ass weight belt that vibrates on your hips that will supposedly give you a six-pack overnight system sportel ab toning belt works

and is effective using electrom muscle stimulation or EMS technology the sportel stimulates the muscles in your abs to tone shape and firm them without you having to do any exercise unlike some other products sportel contact pads never um it just shows you that our whole perception of success is completely off base you know we see huge success

and we immediately look for that one thing that is going to get us from A to B overnight you know we look for that one hack that one tip that Silver Bullet but we're not done yet when you pay in full today shipping is free in reality it does not exist um you know success is the result

of consistently putting in effort day in and day out when nobody knows who you are um and you have to be okay with that because you need to be willing to um not get recognized for weeks months and years um and just be satisfied with the fact of you are pushing yourself towards your goal but the thing

is the minute that you start seeing results the momentum that comes from that is incredible and going back to what Aaron was telling me even after 1 to two months of consistently putting in effort eating clean working out daily uh she was still asking herself when she looked in the mirror when am I going to start losing

weight it wasn't until month three that she really started seeing the results and when she looked in the mirror she was like oh hell yeah I look good um and that's exactly what she said she said when she looked in the mirror so don't judge me but um and it's a similar thing to me when I got

down to medine you know I had sent over 30 proposals before I started finally hearing back from prospects and before I knew it um I had three web design clients and on top of that you know I kept writing and writing put out putting out content knowing that not many people were reading or viewing um but I

was okay with that and actually this week I found out that uh several Publications uh with readers in the millions are actually going to be featuring my content which is amazing news um but again it it all goes back to understanding that this process takes time and you need to really fall in love with this process and

understand that it's going to take time and you need to be okay with not being recognized for your efforts for quite some time um but I'll tell you that the minute you start seeing results the motivation that comes from that is incredible and you can use that to consistently push yourself and continue to push yourself towards your

goal um but anyways I just wanted to share that with you guys because I thought it was uh relevant and I hope it resonated with some of you um and again shout out to my amazing friend Aaron Willet for being amazing and losing so much weight and being a massive inspiration um so I'll catch you guys soon
